Bridge Groups are available on Sunday mornings at 10:30 a.m. and Sunday evenings from 5:30-7:00p.m.
(General Information)
The Bridge group helps 5th and 6th graders bridge the gap between elementary and middle school by connecting the students to God and to each other. The truths they will learn are critical for students to internalize before they move on to middle school.
Curriculum
During the Bridge years, students will learn:
- I need to make wise choices – “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight” (Proverbs 3:5-6).
- I can trust God no matter what – “As for God, his way is perfect: The Lord’s word is flawless; he shields all who take refuge in him” (Psalm 18:30).
- I should treat others the way I want to be treated – “So in everything, do to others what you would have them do to you, for this sums up the Law and the Prophets” (Matthew 7:12).
